Why Do We Test Your Water?

Clean Water Today was launched in 2018 as a water awareness program in the Greater Houston and surrounding areas with the vision and goal of being able to compile water test results. We compile every city’s EPA required water tests data and compare it against the results of the home tests that Clean Water Today provides homeowners. We then take that information and provide it to third party companies so that they can improve their water treatment technology such as the media and components used to treat water. That information allows them to have the most up to date technology matched to meet the most current and up to date water concerns for the community

Clean Water Today is a for-profit company that supplies free water tests and the results to local homeowners in the Greater Houston and surrounding areas, within our coverage area. Requirements for homeowners to receive the free test are that they allow the data collected to be made public. We ask that the data be posted on the Clean Water Today website and you, as the homeowner, post on Facebook. We also recommend that the participating homeowner receiving the test, call a certified third party to review clean water options, if your tests yield negative results. Clean Water Today is not affiliated with any such party, but we do recommend select few that have the latest, most up to date technology that works, and they must be a member of the Texas Water Quality Association.
